I do wonder if Choi Sung-bong hadn't told his life story to the judges beforehand whether the audience would have been so emotional during his performance. Did knowing his background move the audience to tears, or was it Choi's performance that generated the emotion?
Either way, Choi is obviously incredibly talented.
This brought tears to my eyes.
Really magical. I especially loved the comment by one of the judges about his passion. I feel like it is so easy to be distracted from that which truly gives us joy. For this guy, singing is his lifeline to a normal life and he refuses to let it go. For me, the greatest lesson is to capture any opportunity to live the life you want.
Meh. That was overwrought.
