Saint Tilda came to Ebertfest on Saturday night

And was radiant. Intelligent, friendly, down to earth, patient with all, hurried for none, calling for a "pre-industrial cinema." We showed "I am Love," which seen on a big screen is a breathtaking masterpiece.

This still photo represents how I think of her.

Play "Julia" next year and get her to come again.

My niece had a a birthday yesterday. We spoke of the Royal wedding. I mentioned that my favorite Royal was visiting your festival as we spoke. She wholeheartedly agreed with my observation. We chatted happily on our favorite Tilda Swinton performances and ended agreeing again that the upcoming "Die Blutgrafin" looks like a blast. Tilda, Isabelle, Udo, and Verushka, how could it not be?

Tilda is a Great Actress, Angel for sure, Roger right on the Money again. You're rapidly becomming My favorite read. Thanks for all the good work. Gary L Powers Chicago Native

I Am Love was my favorite film last year. It is a breathtaking masterpiece. I guess the numbered best of the year lists really do need to go away. You put Love behind King's Speech, Social Network, and, most perplexingly, Black Swan. Have you re-ranked them or do you not even bother, thinking it doesn't matter, as one work of art cannot be better than another? I agree, but damn, I Am Love was a fantastic movie.

Roger, as you probably know, Tilda is now curating the Edinburgh Film Festival. You should return the favour and come over and see us in Edinburgh.

Ebert: Oh, how I love Edinburgh and its festival! I wish it were easier for me to travel.
