36 Hitchcock death scenes all at once

"Ultraculture" certainly devoted a lot of time and love to this. The challenge is to identify each film. I did pretty well. More than 25, anyway. It's a demonstration of how vivid Hitchcock's images are.

I didn't recognise all of them, but never fail to be jolted by Jessica Tandy's discovery in 'The Birds'. I've also discovered 'Lifeboat', and find the fate of the German submarine captain 'deserving' as well as 'unnerving'.

I didn't do that well. It was nice however to see again early Hitchcock favorite, Nova Pilbeam. She's honored here for her work in "Young and Innocent"(1937). That's her at center left (working with Derrick De Marney). Hitch's long tracking shot for the film's climactic ending is exemplary and relevant to his future work.

Ebert: You get a gold star right in the middle of your forehead.

I love Hitchcock. This is a great compilation.

To Kathlyn,

Very little astounds me now as I enter my dotage. Yet I stand in awe of your brilliant accomplishment here.
