Quad is missing

I was in London, 1977, walking down a street and noticed a sign in a restaurant window. It read: Godot was here, but he left early.

It explains much really.

With the way things are going these days, though this link might be of use to the readers here.

Like all good things.

This may sounds odd, but as a theatre student I loathe to read any of Samuel Becket's words. As reading material, many of them will put me to sleep faster than any pharmaceutical cure for insomnia. I can't read more than six or seven pages of Waiting For Godot simply because of the sheer nothingness in the text.

The really odd part is that while I cannot read his works, I celebrate any opportunity to watch them (which is really how every play should be appreciated). Godot, which I cannot bring myself to read, is a play that I cannot bring myself to look away from.

I could go on

Beckett's Film, starring Buster Keaton, and an early role for James Karen (Wall Street, The Pursuit of Happyness, The Return of the Living Dead.)

I forgot the link, didn't I?
