Avengers Assemble! Superheroes need health care

My Sundance friend Chris Burns, who was in the 2006 film "Somebodies," told me about this original web series. I think SNL would get a lift from an episode a week.

Any chance you have the power to retcon Thor?

Brilliance on a Shoestring!!! I had faint hope that this would be done well, but the bedrock character-knowledge, the subtextual advocacy, and the fine, Simpsons-like asides combine for confections beyond even high expectations. Kudos to all, and thanks for bringing this to our attention!

AMAZING! ABSOLUTELY INSPIRED! BETTER THAN ANY HOLLYWOOD SUPERHERO ADAPTATION! as a long time comic book geek i thank you! finally something i can get behind! and miracole burns--yowza!!

Thank you all so very much, and thank you Mr. Ebert for taking time to watch and promote our series. It's an absolute honor and a pleasure that everyone is enjoying the series as much as we enjoy making it. From the entire team of the Avengers, we thank you all again.

Avengers Assemble!

I love this take on current affairs! They are a very funny group!

Pretty funny, especially the first one. My only real quibble is that the Ms Marvel gags don't really work because she's never really been treated as a lesser member. Those gags would have worked better in a Justice Society parody as Wonder Woman really was treated as a secretary instead of an equal member back in the 1940s. But many of the other gags are spot on. I hope Marvel decides to look the other way so these can continue.

Wow. Very cool that you checked this out.

I remember how much you liked "Somebodies" at Sundance as I was there with Chris B. that year as well. Nice to see you taking an interest in the series as I know it was a labor of love for him.

I like the series but LOVE that you took note, Mr. Ebert!

Thanks,

Martin
