I caught Time Bomb Symphony a couple weeks ago at the Beat Kitchen and was surprised (okay, blown away actually) to see that Ted and Mike from Material Issue are now in the band. That would explain why they were tighter than Beyonce's unitard.
As far as the bill for Turkeypalooza goes, it's four of the coolest bands around all playing on one night for less than ten bucks!
A great night out for those of us stuck in town for the holiday weekend.

I saw Boris during their very 1st US tour back in 2006 when they opened for Sunn O))). I was floored on how amazingly loud and awesome they are live. I got another chance to see them last July at the Bottle with Torche and Chicago based Nachtmystium. They're definitely up there with Boredoms, Acid Mothers Temple and Melt Banana in terms of amazing creative output from a Japanese point of view and a ferocious live show. Definitely bring earplugs.
