Geovany Soto and Alexei Ramirez won Rookie of the Month awards for August.
Soto hit .355 in 24 games with 17 runs, five doubles, a triple, three homers and 21 RBI. He had a .444 on-base percentage.
Ramirez hit .308 with six home runs and 22 RBI.
