Here’s a quick glance at what’s happening around the National League Central.

The Cardinals finally announced that pitcher Adam Wainwright is headed to the disabled list.

The Astros are still trying to figure out why they have been inconsistent.

Another blow for the Brewers: They put speedy second baseman Rickie Weeks. In this same item, GM Doug Melvin denies that the Brewers have interest in Orioles second baseman Brian Roberts.
