Inside the Cubs: Murton up, Patterson down

The Cubs recalled Matt Murton from Class AAA Iowa and optioned Eric Patterson.

Murton hit .317 with a .462 on-base percentage in 13 games with Iowa after hitting .348 in spring training.

Patterson was 0-for-6 in three games with the Cubs.
