The IHSSCA Wall of Fame Ceremony will take place Sunday, Sept. 20 at Toyota Park - the same day as the Pepsi Showdown doubleheader with the Chicago Fire.
With that in mind, who has made the greatest impact on high school soccer in Illinois?

Joe,
I'd say YOU! In all seriousness though, the Pepsi Showdown has had a huge impact on high school soccer in Illinois.
Also, you never said positive impact...so how about the IHSA and administrators who have jumped around in classes...done things geographically instead of true seeding, and numerous others...
Some coaches worth noting..again good and bad....and yes, club coaches have had huge impacts on high school soccer, both good and bad... Mike Matkovich, Brian Papa, Rory Dames, Tony Kees, Mike Taylor, Larry Peppers, Jim Luzzi, Gerardo Pagnani, and the list goes on and on...
Or even players... Brian McBride, the Snow brothers, Brad Guzan, Ned Grabavoy, Nino DaSilva, Jarrett Payton just to name a few...
That's easy:
