2009 Boys Team to Watch...

| | Comments (10) | TrackBacks (0)

Last fall, I told you Larkin was the boys team to watch.

And they were.

Last spring, I told you Huntley was the girls team to watch.

And they were.

This fall, Streamwood is the team to watch. Loaded with talent, led by underappreciated all-around star Alex Perez, the Sabres will open plenty of eyes.

The Sun-Times Preseason Top 10 is complete and will be announced in the coming days.

whitney young, looks like a team that has more experience then previous years, and will also open some eyes. They have a game scheduled against Streamwood on Sep. 10, it's sure to be a great match. Watch out for Young

Whitney Young isn't even the best school in Chicago, let alone the state. I'd be much more scared of a Mount Carmel, who is packed of players who play for very prestigious club teams. Their starting 11 could all play D1

carmel just lost to waukegan and look liked a scrappy team that couldn't control themselves

Mt.Carmel not Carmel

Mt. Carmel is actually undefeated at the moment ...

Have you taken Marian Central off the map? The great upset with the loss against Lakeview in the supersectionals was a bigger upset when the Hurricanes BEAT lakeview last week. The strong core from last year's team are back as seniors. They are a force to be reckoned with. As of today, they are 6 and O

We don't cover Marian Central.

LOL @ thinking there is a team in the state (let alone Mt. Carmel) that has 11 D-1 players.

You want to see a team to what....Bartlett Hawks. Underdogs...some really good raw talent soccer players.

West Aurora is the team to watch. There at a 6-0 start and only got one goal scored on. Tuesday they play naperville central and it is going to be an upset.

thatguy young just won 4-0 vs. streamwood
