As a coach for a mid-range high school program, I feel that we have an obligation to report our scores and give the kids some accolades on their accomplishments. Most High schools cannot compete with the publicity that an established club can give, so any opportunity that we have to get our players names out there should be utilized. If we have dedicated ourselves to our players, then we not only teach them the game, we help them succeed in life. It takes five minutes per game to report some information. With twenty games in a season, that equals an hour and forty minutes of "extra time". We have 3 girls this year that are going to some college with a soccer scholarship, and a big reason is that I can send them information from yourseason.com. My small time commitment has saved 3 of my families a total of $20,000. High School coaches don't make a fortune, so if we are not in this for our kids, then what are we doing? Thanks for all of the free publicity, dedication, and positive energy you have provided. Even if a kid isn't going to college on a soccer scholarship, seeing their name in the paper or on a website not only makes their day, but puts a smile on their face that is absolutely priceless. Thanks for all you do, and High School coaches--- take advantage of any free publicity you can, your kids are worth it.
