Should the Chicago Fire force teams to sell tickets in order to play at Toyota Park?

Remember, the Fire has to cover costs but it also has to build a fan base.

Let me know your thoughts.

I attended the game they played in Peoria and advertised as the Fire vs. the Crew. It was played by reserves and it was 30-35 dollars a ticket. I think a bad D1 team could of beat either team!! I think they still owe us money from that fiasco.

Are you kidding me? The Chicago Fire has ONE objective and that is to SELL tickets! It's not about soccer for them it's all about TICKETS. On one of their promotional brochures it was written the "ULTIMATE COMMITMENT" is purchasing a season ticket!

I understand that they need to cover costs to host the event. However, I think that the price per ticket should be around $10.00. That would make it easier on some of the families who are not as well off financially. 800 ticket minimum at $10.00 per ticket is $8000. That should be plenty of money to cover the cost of a day game including staff for parking and limited concessions and a couple of security guards. Turning a profit should not be the focus of the event. Providing kids the chance to play on the fields of their heroes should be.

hmmmmm......Do the Fire own Toyota Park now?
