Would you pay $10 to see a high school game?

I know, I shook my head, too - $10 to see a high school game?

Even the great IHSA-YSO state finals are not $10.

But what if someone charged $10 to see a high school game? What would your reaction be?

heck no. if someone charged $10, no one will come out to see the games. Students are the main source of fans, and lets face it spending money on high school sporting events is not at the top of their list. I dont know if my parents would even come to the games if they cost that much!

No way! And, I love high school sports. I go to games to see my friends children play. I go to watch students of mine play. My son plays high school hockey. I see a lot of high school games each year and would stop going if it cost too much to get in. Admission charges pay for the extras in a program. We don't need shoes, warm-ups, uniforms with the players name on, etc. If someone wants these extras then they should pay for them.

That's way too much... Who is charging $10? And here I am thinking $6 is a crime.

I would say a decent standard is $4 for Adults & $2 for Students (including College Students). Any more than this, even for a Tournament, is a disservice to the game.

Not sure why you would ever want to pay $10 to go see a high school soccer game . I love the sport and have for many years but what or who's interest are you serving when you charge attendance fees to go to a game where only 40-50 show up anyhow, most of whom are parents, friends and family .
