Now that we have A and AA in soccer what are the top single A teams in the State?

TROST RESPONDS: There aren't 10 good Class A teams in the area to have rankings.

trost. maybe there isnt a top ten. but did u catch the first half of the wws/timothy christian soccer game in the pepsi showdown? they were neck and neck 1-1 till timothys keeper got injured in the second half. timothy also beat farragut who went into 3OT with Lt 4-0. there may not be a top ten but there are some good single a teams.

TROST RESPONDS: There are some good Class A teams. Timothy Christian and Morgan Park Academy are two of them.

It seems that Bloom Township is playing some quality soccer - I haven't seen them have a close game yet and they are 17-0. How come no love for the Blazing Trojans?

TROST RESPONDS: It's always good to see teams in the South Suburbs playing well. But the Trojans' schedule isn't blazing with high quality opponents. I went through and added the win/loss record of the opponents and...ya, it's not pretty. Not the players' fault. But with a big group of underclassmen coming back, it may be a good idea to get a couple quality opponents on tap.

After Lake Zurich's 3-0 whipping of New Trier on Saturday is it time to put them in your top 10? Two of the Bears' 3 losses have come to rated teams. Give 'em some love.

TROST RESPONDS: There are a lot of very good teams not ranked.
