Peoria Richwoods' 6-foot all-state guard/forward Mariah Smith said Monday night that she had given a commitment to Princeton.

The daughter of the late Mark Smith, a Richwoods graduate and former Illinois player, Mariah who already has one state title to her name, chose Princeton after visits to the New Jersey school as well as Standford, Illinois, Iowa and Yale.
