Oak Park's Becca Pearce chosen for U.S. Army All-American Marching Band

The U.S. Army will be in Oak Park on Sept 29 to select a deserving young woman to be a part of the 2011 U.S. Army All-American Bowl as a member of the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band. This selection is a great honor - only 125 high school musicians and color guard members are selected each year.

With her selection, Becca Pearce from Oak Park and River Forest High School becomes a member of a select group of All-American band members that, over the years, have gone on to perform in college marching bands and elite drum corps, as well as several that have gone on to serve in the U.S. Army.
