Northwestern men open in Italy with a win

John Shurna scored a team-high 17 points and Drew Crawford added 14 of his 16 points
in the first half as the Northwestern men's basketball won the opening game of its
tour in Italy 67-61 over AB Latina in Latina, Italy, Monday evening. The Wildcats
trailed 7-3 early on, but led the remainder of the contest and by as many as 13.
Alex Marcotullio chipped in with 11 points, while Crawford had a team-leading 7

The Wildcats' next game is scheduled for 11 a.m. Central time Wednesday when it
takes on Liomatic Perugia in Perugia, Italy.
