The Chicago Slaughter were knocked out in the second round of the Indoor Football League playoffs, losing to the Sioux Falls Storm 47-33 in United Conference finals Saturday night.
The Storm will host Wichita next week, with the winner reaching the Indoor Football League finals.
The Storm (13-3) led from the start - thanks to a James Jones 52-yard touchdown off the opening kickoff. The Slaughter (7-9) stayed close until an onside kick failed to go 10 yards late in the game with Chicago trailing 39-33.
