The Chicago Slaughter won the 2010 Indoor Football League Best Fan Base Award. The franchise earned the award based on Chicago's fan-base proving to be the most enthusiastic, having the most character and energy, and providing the most overall appreciation for their team. Chicago is also the league leader in attendance, averaging more than 5,000 a game.
"We are very excited to receive this award from the league," said Slaughter GM Alan Perkins in a release. "It's easy to love this team with guys like Jarrett Payton, Jim McMahon and Steve McMichael leading the way. Chicago has a tremendous love for football and it showed with the support we received all year from the greatest fans in the country."

in the first round of the IFL playoffs. Kickoff is at 7:05 p.m at the Online
