WNBA president Donna Orender was at the Allstate Arena Tuesday night for the game between the Chicago Sky Sky and the New York Liberty.
Orender had good news to report on the state of the league with television ratings up 33 percent in May.
"We know that June has been better than May and July, better than June, so we are encouraged by what we've seen so far," she said.
Orender said that the conference finals (best-of-three) would go to a 1-1-1 format in a change. Before, the higher seeded started on the road and then played at home.
