Chicago Slaughter helps turn indoor football outdoors

After a 43-36 loss at Rochester, the Chicago Slaughter of the IFL (Indoor Football League) will return to action Saturday night at 7:05, hosting the LaCrosse Spartans in its final regular-season home game at Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates. The game at Rochester was the league's first outdoor contest.

Slaughter running back Jarrett Payton,  son of the late Walter Payton, who left last week's game with a hamstring injury  is expected to play.
