It has been awhile since I have last wrote. During this time I have run:
7-21: 3 miles
7-23: 12 miles
7-26: 3 miles
today: 6 miles
But, truth be told, my body and mind are worn out.
The twelve miles I ran on July 23rd were hard. Hard because I made it so - I didn't walk any of the miles and picked a hilly course. I've always been of the nature that "whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger." But it has taken my body a long time to recover from that run. I still don't think I'm 100% recovered and I have 13 miles to complete this upcoming Saturday.
Words to describe me right now: sluggish. tight. exhausted. dull.
I'm researching the foods I should be eating, hoping this will give me the extra energy I need. I also have faith that every tide goes in as well as out. I know my determination will return. But until then, it's lights out.
