Lately, I've experienced an uncontrollable craving for water. In the morning I wake up and look for the nearest glass. During the day I have anywhere from 1 to 5 bottles sitting in my office. Today for lunch I took the hike from the Sun-Times to my optometrists on Michigan ave and chided myself the whole way for not bringing water. I even opted for good ole H2O over (gasp!) coffee on wednesday morning.
I know that running, heat, and a recent whopper of a sinus cold is to blame...but I tend to feel uncomfortable when the body is THIS thirsty. Anyone know-on average- what a runner's daily water intake is?
On a side note, I'm very anxious about Saturday's 9 mile run. I haven't run that distance ever. Never. Ever. Did I say I'm anxious? I will be running it at Camera Park in my hometown of Glendale Heights. The track there is 2 miles long. I'm encouraging myself to wake up at about 5 am so I can be done by latest at 7 am - hopefully beating the heat. Here's one of the songs that will be on my playlist. Aptly named Aquas de Marco (Water of March). Enjoy!

I love the song you posted and have added it to my own running mix. Keep up the great blogging! Oh and, by the way, I think you should be drinking about a gallon of H2O per day. And you will love the 9 mile run!
Good Running!
