The Marin Report is a fast-paced, insightful look at the day's top news from renowned reporter Carol Marin. Watch it each weekday at noon.

Here are the stories we're following today:

• Money is behind Ald. Tom Tunney's suggestion to replace the Wrigley Field scoreboard with a Jumbotron. The Cubs want more to renovate the park.  Roof-top owners don't want their views blocked. But the Sun-Times' Rick Telander writes: "With the roof-tops it's just stealing somebody else's product. Plain and simple."

• The William Beavers corruption trial could go to the jury today. The Cook County commissioner is charged with using campaign money to gamble. The Sun-Times' Mark Brown isn't so sure about the government's case.

Chicago Public School students who go from a closed school to a new one are promised air conditioning in the fall. The announcement on school closings is just days away.

• The parent company of Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer is one of two new owners of equally legendary Twinkies. Look for the Chicago confections to return this summer.
