Derrick Rose could sit on Bulls bench during games

Tom Thibodeau was coy in discussing star Derrick Rose's role will be during games while he rehabs his injured knee.

The coach did not dismiss the idea of Rose sitting on the bench during games or travelling with the team. But he did emphasize his chief concern is Rose's rehab.

"It depends on what's going to serve us best," Thibodeau said. "He's usually doing rehab during part of the game so I want that to be the focus. He may travel some, he may not. If it better serves us to have him here or some place doing rehab, we're going to do that."
