Immediately after Derrick Rose tore the ACL is his right knee which ended his season and will possibly cause him to miss the beginning of next season, questions were immediately asked as to why the reigning MVP was in the game with his team up double-digits and less than two minutes left in the game.
Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau answered those questions after Sunday's practice.
"You make those decision based on what's going on in the games," Thibodeau said. "That's what I did, and looking back I don't think there was a problem. It's a 12-point game with a minute-and-a-half left to go.''
And Thibodeau has taken any criticism that has come his way in stride.
"That goes with the territory," he said. "Everyone has a job to do, I understand that part of it. So you try and make the best decisions for the team.''
