Rip Hamilton was considering discarding the brace on his sprained shoulder before running shoulder-first into three different screens set by Bobcats players during Wednesday night's win that knocked him backwards.

He was icing his shoulder before Thursday night's game and said he will stick with the brace a little longer. While his shoulder was a little sore, he said to have it tested that makes him feel as if it's ready for the more physical play that comes with the postseason.
