Derrick Rose said at this morning's shoot around that if he does not play tonight against the Celtics at the United Center he expects to play Sunday when the Bulls travel to New York to take on the Knicks.
Despite being classified as a game-time decision, Rose has sat out the past 11 games with a groin injury.
Regarding tonight's game against the Celtics, Rose will warm up and then determine whether he feels good enough to play.
"If I feel good when I'm out there, I'm definitely going to play," Rose said. "If not be smart."
Whether Rose returns tonight or Sunday he doesn't intend on scaling his game back. Rose participated in all of shoot around today but said he still feels some discomfort in the groin.
"I'm not going to hold back at all," Rose said. "The way that I play I'm not holding back. My game is to be aggressive and try to get people going."
Rose said he was still slightly concerned with reinjuring the groin but has become less concerned the more he's been able to participate in practice.
