Derrick Rose participated fully in Thursday's shootaround at the Berto Center and while still considered a "game-time decision" by coach Tom Thibodeau, he's expected to play against the Heat on Thursday night at the United Center.

The Bulls had 37 turnovers in two straight games against the Knicks. If that trend continues against the Heat, the Bulls could see their lead for home-court advantage in the Eastern Conference shaved to two games.

"They're great with steals," Thibodeau said. "They're long, athletic. When they turn you over they turn that around very quickly. If they're live ball turnovers it's almost impossible to get back. You have to take care of the ball and you have to be back on the raise of the shot. They race the ball up the floor."

"Their three primary guys, you're looking at two guys who are great off-the-dribble in LeBron [James] and [Dwyane] Wade and then you have [Chris] Bosh, who is a terrific low-post player. They're surrounded with guys who can really shoot with great veteran experience. What you can't do is overcommit to those three guys and leave [Mario] Chalmers open, Mike Miller, and Shane Battier and [Udonis] Haslem. [Ronny] Turiaf has been added to their team so they're deep. They can hurt you a lot of different ways. You have to play well against them."
