| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Coach Tom Thibodeau said Derrick Rose would not play against the Trail Blazers at the United Center on Friday night. Earlier in the day, Thibodeau said Rose's availability would be a game-time decision but informed reporters during his pregame press conference that Rose would not play. He said C.J. Watson remains a game-time decision.

The Bulls have had players miss 71 game thus far this season because of injury and illness, and that doesn't count Friday night's game. Last season, Bulls players missed 61 games.

Carlos Boozer is the only player to start every game this season. Kyle Korver Omer Asik and Ronnie Brewer have played in every game. Korver and Asik appeared in all 82 games last season.

The Bulls are 8-3 without Rose this season and 7-2 without Luol Deng, who will play for the second straight game. They are 22-6 without Rip Hamilton.
