While a postseason rematch with the Heat remains the No. 1 priority, Derrick Rose is also looking forward to spending time with other NBA greats while competing for a spot on Team USA this offseason.

"I could learn a lot of things from those guys," Rose said. "With them being leaders --- I'm still trying to become a young leader for this team, being more vocal, seeing how they approach everything, how professional they are. It will help out a lot just being around those guys. Hopefully, I'll come back a better player."

One of the reasons Luol Deng opted against surgery to repair ligament damage in his left wrist was his desire to play for the Great Britain national team in his home country. Noah will play for France.

Omer Asik's Turkish national team failed to quality for the 2012 Olympics in London.

"He's been talking trash to me," Rose said of Deng. "It's going to be fun seeing him over there. We'll probably eat dinner and hang out a little bit. That experience is definitely something I'm going to remember for the rest of my life."
