The Bulls have announced that Derrick Rose is starting today against the Hawks at the United Center. Rose has missed the past five games with a back injury.

The Bulls are 3-2 over the last five games, most recently losing 97-85 to the Nets at home.

Rose took contact in practice on Sunday and felt no side effects from the extended work. He has missed a total of ten games this season due to injury. Earlier he nursed a turf toe injury that had bothered him prior to this season.
