Taj Gibson likely out Wednesday against Pacers

Bulls backup power forward Taj Gibson is unlikely to play Wednesday when the Bulls host the Indiana Pacers at the United Center. Gibson sprained his ankle in the second quarter of a blowout win in Cleveland Friday after coming down on Antawn Jamison's foot and has missed two games due to the injury.

Tom Thibodeau did say he was "getting better" and that the "swelling was down." Gibson was seen shooting free-throws at the conclusion of Monday's shoot around.

So far this season, the Bulls have had six players miss games due to injury including four starters. Despite the injuries, the Bulls still have a league-best 16-3 record.

"It gets back to the right guys with the right attitude and the right approach," Thibodeau said. "We feel good about the players we have but it never ends. You're always going to be challenged and you have to be ready to meet those challenges."
