The Bulls waived point guard Mike James Saturday after the 36-year old veteran appeared in four games, averaging 4.0 points and 3.7 assists for the Bulls.

The team signed James on Jan. 11 in the wake of simultaneous injuries to Derrick Rose and backup point guard C.J. Watson.

James' best outing came Jan. 21 in a 95-89 win over Charlotte when he had nine points and ten assists in 17 minutes.

With Rose, Watson and John Lucas III all healthy, there was no need to carry a fourth point guard. The Bulls roster now stands at 13.
