Carlos Boozer won't play in tonight's game against the Dallas Mavericks and will miss his third straight game with a sprained left ankle.

"We just want to be smart about it," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said. "I'd prefer that he get through a practice. Once he gets through a practice, you have a good idea that he's OK. He wasn't quite ready this morning, so I didn't feel good about throwing him out there tonight."
