NEW YORK -- The last time the Bulls played the New York Knicks, the Knicks made 16 three-pointers to score a 120-112 victory at the United Center on Nov. 4.
The Bulls have gotten better closing out to the three-point line since then. How much better will be on display today.
"I think we're better, but that's their strength," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said. "They put a lot of pressure on you in a lot of different ways, so it's not only covering the line, but you have to take care of the ball in the pick-and-roll. You have to take care of the ball, the paint and then react out to the line.
"Once they get going, if they get going early, it makes for a long night. They're gonna take 25 to 30 [three-pointers] and we have to be ready and we have to challenge them."
The game certainly will have a Christmas-y appearance. The Bulls will wear their tradition red road uniforms, while the Bulls will wear green.
