When power forward Carlos Boozer returned to the active roster last week, the Bulls suddenly had two players capable of being a primary scorer and drawing double teams from the defense.
But there's no dispute that point guard Derrick Rose is the guy the Bulls turn to take the big shot at the end of the game - just ask Boozer.
"He's that guy," Boozer said of Rose after the point guard hit a buzzer-beater at the end of regulation to force overtime in the Bulls' 119-116 victory. "I think he's proven that this entire season.
"It was an up-and-down game. We had a little bit of a lead and they came back in the third [quarter]. We come down the stretch back and forth, they're up by three points and we had no timeouts left. We just got him the ball, hit 'em with a couple of screens, got out the way and he came off and hit that three to put us into overtime.
"That's what he's been doing all season. He's been able to prove that he is that guy. When we need a basket, we go in to D-Rose and he'll get it for us."
