DENVER -- With Derrick Rose questionable for tonight's game with the Denver Nuggets and with only one other point guard on the roster, the Bulls signed John Lucas III to a contract this afternoon.
Lucas, one of the team's final cuts in training camp, is en route to the Pepsi Center and is expected to be in uniform tonight.
Rose is battling a stiff neck and could barely move his head this morning when talking to reporters at the shootaround. If he can't play, C.J. Watson would start in his place.
The Bulls' roster now stands at 14, one under the NBA limit.
