Rose's toe woes

| 1 Comment | No TrackBacks

After Tuesday's practice session at the Berto Center, Derrick Rose revealed that he has been battling a case of turf toe with his left big toe.

Rose said he doesn't remember when or how the problem first flared up.

"I really don't know," he said. "I don't know how you get turf toe. I just know that my big toe hurts. It's been hurting ever since last season, in the playoffs, but I didn't know what was wrong."

The condition is more of a nagging problem than anything else. He hasn't missed any time because of it and even participated in Tuesday's brief workout.
