LOS ANGELES -- Following Sunday's Bulls practice session, Taj Gibson was asked why his right shoe was off.

"It's nothing," he said. "I'm fine."

As it turns out, Gibson isn't fine. He pinched a nerve in his right foot early in Sunday's practice and again sat out Monday's practice at UCLA.

Gibson was scheduled to have his foot examined this afternoon and his status for Tuesday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers won't be determined until after that exam.
