The Bulls suffered a minor free agent loss when center Brad Miller signed a three-year, $15 million deal with the Houston Rockets.
The Bulls had hoped to bring him back, but Miller got a better offer from the Rockets and will be reunited with former coah Rick Adelman.
The Bulls were prepared to lose Miller. Joakim Noah is the starting center and they signed 7-footer Omer Asik (whose draft rights they acquired in 2008) earlier this month to be the backup. The Bulls also could keep Chris Richard around as a third center in case of injury.
