The Bulls will hold a news conference next Wednesday to officially introduce Tom Thibodeau as the franchise's 18th head coach.

The Bulls decided to hire Thibodeau nearly two weeks ago, but had to wait until the NBA Finals concluded to make it official because Thibodeau remained as an assistant with the Boston Celtics through the completion of the Finals.

The Celtics came up just short, losing 83-79 to the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 7 Thursday night in Los Angeles.

The Thibodeau news conference will be carried live by CSN Chicago.
