Johnson has MRI

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Bulls rookie James Johnson suffered a strained right foot during Thursday night's nightmarish performance against the Miami Heat. The injury occurred in the first quarter, but Johnson returned to play an additional 13 minutes and was well enough to throw down a ridiculous follow dunk in the second half.

Johnson didn't practice Friday and was sent for an MRI. As long the MRI doesn't reveal anything more severe, Johnson should be OK to play when the Bulls host the New Jersey Nets Saturday night at the United Center.
