After testing his swollen left knee, forward Luol Deng was scratched from the Bulls' starting lineup and won't play tonight against the Atlanta Hawks at the United Center.

Rookie James Johnson will get his first NBA start in Deng's place. The Bulls already were playing without center Joakim Noah, meaning they'll be without two starters.

Following the Hawks game, the Bulls are off until Thursday and the hope is Deng will be ready to go by then.
