DALLAS -- The Bulls announced this afternoon that point guard Derrick Rose (sprained left wrist) and small forward Luol Deng (strained right calf) won't play tonight against the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center.

This will be the third game Rose has missed and the fourth for Deng.

Rookie Taj Gibson (plantar fasciitis of left foot) is listed as probable.

Guard Kirk Hinrich will return to action after sitting out Tuesday at Memphis serving a one-game suspension.
