Boston forward Leon Powe has a torn left ACL and other knee tissue damage and is out foe the remainder of the season. Powe sustained the injury in Game 2 of the best-of-seven series with the Bulls, which is 1-1.
Rajon Rondo, who sprained his right ankle in Game 2, is expected to play Thursday in Game 3 at the United Center.
