Derrick Rose left the game midway through the first quarter Friday after he strained his left hip flexor. Rose was injured when he was fouled hard by Milwaukee forward Richard Jefferson with 7:20 left in the quarter. Rose had beat Dan Gadzuric on a fast break drive to the hoop but Jefferson hit the Bulls rookie while Rose was in air. Rose landed awkwardly under the basket.
