Gordon to make preseason debut, Hughes out

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

Bulls guard Ben Gordon will play tonight here in Champaign when the Bulls host Deron Williams and the Utah Jazz. It will be Gordon's first exhibition game since he has been out since Oct. 6 with a sore right big toe.
``I wouldn't give it a percentage, I just feel OK right now,'' Gordon said. ``I haven't played yet, so I think I'm going to be behind a little bit. I don't know how much, I'm talking about maybe game shape. As far as the plays and the system, I'm pretty much up to speed with everything.''
Larry Hughes will not play due to a knuckle injury he sustained in the Bulls loss Tuesday to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Coach Vinny Del Negro said holding Hughes out tonight was a ``precautionary'' move.
