Fish of the Week: Carp of a lifetime

To catch some big fish, you have to go to Towne.


Jason Towne of Elk Grove Village caught the biggest fish of his life, a 29-pound, 7-ounce carp, last week from Jackson Park Harbor.

``I knew it was no ordinary carp because it was running for about 30 seconds taking my line out to the middle of the harbor,'' Town emailed. ``I brought him close to shore and when he saw the net he took off and ran all the way back out. I got him back in and netted it.''
